We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and have experience in project management and design. You will be responsible for overseeing infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop project designs and documentation for civil engineering works.
• Supervise construction activities and provide technical support on-site.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance.
• Implement innovative solutions to improve project efficiency.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on infrastructure projects

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng)

Languages

• English: Fluent
