We are on the lookout for an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Port Elizabeth team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing environmental impacts, developing management plans, and ensuring compliance with local and national regulations. You will work closely with clients to deliver sustainable solutions that benefit both the environment and the community.

Responsibilities

• Assess and report on environmental risks associated with projects.
• Formulate strategies to enhance environmental performance.
• Manage client relationships and ensure their satisfaction.
• Conduct training sessions on environmental compliance.
• Promote awareness of environmental issues within the team.
• Assist in the development of corporate sustainability reports.
• Monitor and evaluate project compliance with environmental laws.
• Prepare and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Encourage innovation in environmental consulting practices.
• Support project teams in implementing environmental solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or similar
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years working in environmental consulting or related field
