• Implement and supervise surgical procedures in accordance with veterinary standards.
• Conduct thorough clinical examinations and diagnose medical conditions.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
• Establish strong, trusting relationships with pet owners.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Mentor junior veterinarians and interns.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote animal welfare.
• Participate in continuous education and training programs.
• Assist in the management of clinic operations and logistics.
• Respond to veterinary emergencies promptly and effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in veterinary practice, specifically in surgery
