Job Description

We are seeking a Chemical Engineer to drive innovative projects in our Pretoria facility. The ideal candidate will work with our team to develop and improve chemical processes, ensuring safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in new technologies for chemical production.
  • Collaborate with R&D to translate research findings into practical applications.
  • Evaluate environmental impacts of chemical processes.
  • Manage projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Support product development initiatives through chemical expertise.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure operational safety.
  • Facilitate communication with regulatory bodies regarding compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in a chemical engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
