Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will optimize manufacturing processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs. Your analytical skills will be critical in evaluating production workflows and implementing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed project plans for process transformation projects.
• Measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions and provide ongoing support.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues.
• Integrate sustainability practices into engineering processes.
• Coordinate with the health and safety team to ensure compliance.
• Support the development of training materials for process changes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary project meetings and contribute solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering roles, preferably in manufacturing
