Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on proper medication use, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. You will play a vital role in improving patient health and wellness through effective pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate processing of prescriptions.
  • Help patients navigate their medication regimens.
  • Work closely with physicians on patient care.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives in the pharmacy.
  • Support pharmacy education events in the community.
  • Conduct medication reviews for patients with complex needs.
  • Liaise with third-party payers to ensure smooth billing.
  • Keep up-to-date with pharmaceutical advancements.
  • Address medication-related queries from patients.
  • Assist in developing pharmacy services to meet community needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Additional certifications in clinical pharmacy are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting preferred
