Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-level nursing care, supporting the medical staff in administering treatment, and ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of our patients. You will play a critical role in monitoring and managing patient healthcare plans and collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals. This position requires a dedication to patient care and a commitment to excellence in nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and monitoring of patient conditions.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and document patient responses.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members on patient treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and care options.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of nursing care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charts.
  • Respond to patient emergencies and participate in life-saving procedures.
  • Promote patient wellness through preventative healthcare practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing)
  • Current registration with SANC
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a nursing role
