Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Building Inspector to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that buildings conform to local and national regulations. You will perform inspections at various stages of construction, making sure safety and code compliance are upheld.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate construction and renovation projects for adherence to regulations.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential safety hazards.
• Prepare detailed reports on findings and suggest improvements.
• Engage with clients and contractors to explain requirements and expectations.
• Stay updated with changes in building regulations and codes.
• Participate in training programs and workshops related to building inspection.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Building Inspection or Construction Management

Experience

• 3+ years in building inspection or construction oversight roles
