Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will utilize engineering principles to develop, optimize, and manage industrial processes, enhancing productivity and efficiency in our operations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate process capabilities and production schedules.
• Use statistical analysis to identify process inefficiencies.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to enhance product quality.
• Document engineering processes and results.
• Develop and deliver presentations on engineering outcomes.
• Coordinate with suppliers on material specifications and quality.
• Supervise production floor activities for adherence to safety standards.
• Manage engineering projects from inception to delivery.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years experience in process and quality engineering roles
