Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural designs for various building projects.
• Act as the main point of contact for client projects.
• Evaluate and recommend building materials and systems.
• Conduct site analyses and produce site plans.
• Ensure projects comply with environmental laws and regulations.
• Create project timelines and manage project documentation.
• Facilitate community stakeholder engagement processes.
• Train and supervise junior staff and interns.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the construction process.
• Contribute to conference presentations and industry publications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Architecture preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in architectural design and project management

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite

• Communication

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations: Understanding of Johannesburg's architectural landscape and requirements.
