Auditor

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Auditor to take on the responsibility of conducting detailed financial assessments in Durban. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently yet collaboratively within our dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate financial statements and reports.
• Conduct regular audits to proactively address compliance issues.
• Prepare and present findings to management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
• Support management in strategic decision-making based on audit results.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Finance or related discipline
• Relevant auditing qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of auditing experience preferred

• Taxation
• Regulatory Compliance

• Critical Thinking
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Knowledge of industry standards: Understanding of local and international auditing standards and practices.
• Leadership experience: Previous experience leading audit teams is a plus.
