Public Safety Inspector

Job Description

As a Public Safety Inspector in Cape Town, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with local law enforcement agencies to assess safety risks and implement preventative measures.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety inspection initiatives across various sites.
• Collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure comprehensive safety assessments.
• Utilize technology to enhance the efficiency of inspections.
• Monitor changes in safety regulations and ensure compliance.
• Report safety hazards to appropriate authorities promptly.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of inspection results.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Safety Management or Public Safety
• Degree in Environmental Science is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public safety or law enforcement roles
