Job Description

As a Tax Consultant at Tax Solutions Ltd., you will be responsible for advising clients on various tax matters while ensuring they remain compliant with local regulations. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and possesses strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough tax assessments and provide analytical insights.
• Draft reports and documentation for client meetings and consultations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and communicate them to clients.
• Manage client portfolios and ensure timely compliance with tax deadlines.
• Train junior staff and support their professional development.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and adapt processes accordingly.
• Participate in industry seminars and workshops for continued education.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Honours or Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of tax consulting experience

• Tax Legislation Knowledge
• Accounting Software Proficiency
• Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Client Management
• Time Management

Certifications

• SAICA Chartered Accountant (CA SA) or similar
• Tax Practitioner Registration with SARS

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of transfer pricing: Experience in handling transfer pricing matters for clients.
