• Assess risk by collecting and analyzing data from insurance applications.
• Liaise with clients to gather necessary documents and information.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and brokers.
• Document underwriting decisions and maintain accurate records.
• Work alongside the claims team to address client inquiries.
• Evaluate market trends and competitor activity.
• Recommend risk management strategies to clients.
• Conduct periodic reviews of existing policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance underwriting skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• Insurance-related qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in underwriting or related field
