Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Worker to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, planning educational activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Regularly supervise child interactions and playtime.
• Plan engaging activities that stimulate learning and development.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and their families.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for children.
• Monitor the emotional and physical well-being of children.
• Support children’s interests and encourage their development.
• Respond to children's needs and concerns promptly.
• Prepare reports on children's progress and needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance childcare practices.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Diploma in Early Childhood Development is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in childcare or a teaching role.

Technical Skills

• Skills in Child Supervision
• Activity Planning

Certifications

• Advanced Childcare Certification
• Early Childhood Education Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous
