Civil Engineer

Job Description

As a Civil Engineer in our Cape Town office, you'll be involved in all stages of civil engineering projects. This includes concept development, design specifications, quality control, and project management. Your skills will contribute to creating infrastructure that enhances community living and promotes sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules and resources to optimize efficiency.
• Design infrastructure and ensure structural integrity of specifications.
• Engage with community and stakeholders to foster positive project outcomes.
• Create engineering drawings and models using CAD software.
• Assist with the preparation of public presentations and project documentation.
• Evaluate new technologies for integration into future projects.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
