DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have experience in automating cloud infrastructure and deploying CI/CD pipelines to enhance our development processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the deployment of applications to cloud environments.
• Create and maintain CI/CD tools and scripts.
• Assist in system upgrades and migrations.
• Perform infrastructure audits and report on system health.
• Enhance the reliability and scalability of cloud services.
• Participate in on-call duties as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Relevant certifications in DevOps practices are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years working with DevOps tools and practices

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Jenkins

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of cloud security best practices: Knowledge of security protocols and practices in cloud environments.
