Information Security Manager

Job Description

We are in search of an experienced Information Security Manager to spearhead our cybersecurity efforts. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity and security of our information systems. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in information security, incident response, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop security metrics to measure the effectiveness of security initiatives.
• Implement continuous monitoring processes for security alerts.
• Assess the impact of proposed technologies on the organization’s security posture.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and regulatory agencies during investigations.
• Facilitate security training for team members and users.
• Conduct threat modeling and security assessments on new projects.
• Ensure that third-party vendors comply with security standards.
• Research and recommend improvements to enhance security capabilities.
• Draft and maintain documentation for security policies and practices.
• Report on security performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related field
• Master's degree in Information Security is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of progressive experience in information security
