Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist at our Pretoria facility, you will support individuals in improving their day-to-day functioning through tailored therapeutic interventions. You will assess and treat a diverse range of patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Establish rapport with patients and create a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches to devise effective treatment strategies.
  • Monitor patient adherence to therapy regimens and provide encouragement.
  • Educate communities on the role of occupational therapy in rehabilitation.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Registered with HPCSA as an Occupational Therapist
Experience
  • 3 years of experience, preferably in a rehabilitation setting

  • Rehabilitative techniques

Certifications
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
