Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Chemical Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. The successful candidate will lead projects involving chemical processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. You will be responsible for developing new chemical products and optimizing existing processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new chemical formulations.
• Monitor production processes and adjust parameters as needed.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to maintain product standards.
• Participate in budget planning and cost analysis for projects.

Requirements

Education

• Honours degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
