Join Paws & Claws Grooming as a Pet Groomer in Cape Town! We seek a dedicated individual with a love for animals to provide top-notch grooming services to our furry clients. You will be responsible for bathing, cutting, and styling pets, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional grooming services tailored to each pet's needs.
• Educate pet owners about skin care and grooming maintenance at home.
• Ensure a hygienic workspace, maintaining grooming equipment as necessary.
• Build rapport with pets and their owners to foster a loyal clientele.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance personal skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Animal Care is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of grooming experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Maintenance
• Skin and Coat Care Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Customer Service

Certifications

• All Breed Grooming Certification
• Pet CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to manage appointments digitally: Familiarity with scheduling tools and software is a plus.
• Experience in customer relations: Strong customer relations experience enhances client loyalty.
