NLP Engineer

Job Description

Innovative AI Solutions Inc. is looking for an NLP Engineer focused on enhancing user interactions through cutting-edge NLP techniques in our Cape Town office. This role will require the application of state-of-the-art language processing methods, model training, and deploying machine learning solutions that adapt to our client's needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to integrate NLP capabilities seamlessly into our products.

Responsibilities

• Leverage existing NLP libraries and frameworks to deliver optimized solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers to capture requirements for NLP projects.
• Research emerging technologies in the field of NLP and propose actionable recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines while delivering quality results.
• Train team members on best practices in NLP and machine learning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Master’s in AI, Data Science, or similar is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in developing NLP solutions

Technical Skills

• NLTK, SpaCy
• Machine Learning Algorithms

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Programming experience in R or Java: Proficiency in additional programming languages such as R or Java for extended NLP functionalities.
• Experience with data visualization tools: Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI to present insights from NLP models.
