We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will ensure that our software applications meet the highest standards of quality and usability before being released to our clients. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes and raise issues effectively.
• Perform thorough testing activities, including manual and automated tests.
• Assist in defining and improving testing methodologies for effective results.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members on best practices for testing.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate testing tools and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or related field

Technical Skills

• Test Automation Frameworks
• Performance Testing

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Agile Testing Certification
• Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Cloud Testing: Knowledge of cloud environments and testing procedures for applications hosted in the cloud.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools.
