Returned Materials Inspector

Job Description

As a Returned Materials Inspector, you will be tasked with inspecting and evaluating returned materials and products. Your primary objective is to ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures. You will work closely with both customers and internal teams to identify quality issues and help improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of returns and prepare detailed reports.
• Assess product conditions to determine the cause of the return.
• Ensure documentation and records are kept accurate and up-to-date.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to implement quality improvements.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss quality challenges and solutions.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex inspection issues.
• Perform audits on returned materials to monitor compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor inventory of returned items and coordinate returns to suppliers.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant degree in Quality Management or a similar field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in product inspection.
