Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders to validate software functionality.
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues before release.
  • Facilitate QA meetings and discussions to promote transparency in testing progress.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth deployment of software.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and risk.
  • Keep comprehensive documentation of testing processes and results.
  • Advocate for quality improvements across the software development team.
  • Utilize performance testing tools to evaluate application load capacity.
  • Mentor and guide new QA team members in testing practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are advantageous
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
