Job Description

We are seeking an IT Project Manager who is passionate about delivering successful projects on time and within budget. You will lead cross-functional teams and ensure that project goals are achieved. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing IT projects and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan project objectives and determine project scope.
• Supervise team activities and provide guidance.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
• Evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop training materials and conduct training for involved parties.
• Gather feedback and implement necessary changes.
• Mentor junior team members and foster professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Project Management
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• At least 5 years managing IT projects with strong leadership experience

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Project
• Risk Management

• Time Management

Certifications

• Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Beginner

Advantageous

• PMP certification preferred: Having the Project Management Professional certification will be an added advantage.
