Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of pets to assess their health.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and provide accurate diagnoses.
• Create and implement effective vaccination schedules.
• Assist in the management of the animal clinic operations.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to pet owners facing tough decisions.
• Mentor junior veterinary staff and interns in clinical practices.
• Participate in community outreach and education initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Veterinary Surgeon
