Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical and electrical systems maintenance, ensuring the functionality and safety of a variety of equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, performing regular inspections, and executing repairs as necessary. Responsibilities

• Identify areas for improvement in maintenance protocols.
• Provide technical support during installation and setup of equipment.
• Review and update maintenance manuals and processes.
• Support project teams with their maintenance needs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in managing vendor relationships for maintenance services.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• Mechanical Engineering qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance roles

Technical Skills

• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Preventive Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Certification
• Forklift Operator Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
