We are seeking a skilled Mining Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gqeberha. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations while optimizing resource extraction.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mining performance and suggest process enhancements.
• Direct the development and implementation of new mining technologies.
• Act as a liaison between the mining department and external partners.
• Manage environmental impact assessments and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with local authorities and the community on mining activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering
• Relevant certifications in mine safety or environmental management are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of mining experience
