We are seeking a talented Cybersecurity Specialist to fortify our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in protecting information systems, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures to safeguard our technological assets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and mitigate cybersecurity risks affecting systems and data.
• Work with the IT department to secure infrastructure against cyber threats.
• Prepare and present reports on security incidents and the effectiveness of security measures.
• Conduct training sessions to promote security awareness among staff.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Evaluate new security technologies and make recommendations.
• Actively monitor for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Facilitate incident response drills and exercises.
• Collaborate with external partners for cybersecurity threat intelligence.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science

Experience

• 5+ years in cybersecurity or related field
