Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Gauteng. In this role, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic support and assessments for patients of varying age groups. You'll work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to create individualized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Offer therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Document clinical sessions and ensure compliance with ethical standards.
  • Advise management on mental health policy and service improvements.
  • Engage in supervision and peer consultation frameworks.
  • Conduct evaluations for court referrals and legal cases as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the organization.
  • Support the integration of holistic care methods.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions.
  • Assist in developing educational materials for patients and families.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) preferred
  • Registered Clinical Psychologist with HPCSA
Experience
  • 4+ years of clinical experience preferred
