We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in bookkeeping software. You will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
• Assist in month-end closing activities.
• Monitor and analyze financial data for trends.
• Work with external partners to manage financial relationships.
• Ensure all invoice documentation is complete and accurate.
• Provide financial insights to management.
• Implement new bookkeeping software as necessary.
• Train junior staff on financial protocols.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Finance is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles

• Professional Accounting Technician (PAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
