Job Description

Join our innovative cybersecurity team as a Cybersecurity Specialist. You will leverage your skills in network security, malware analysis, and incident management to combat cyber threats and protect sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures for IT systems.
• Conduct security awareness training workshops for employees.
• Collaborate with development teams to create secure coding practices.
• Manage firewall configurations and security appliances.
• Assist in regulatory compliance initiatives (e.g., GDPR, POPIA).
• Create incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises.
• Provide recommendations for security investments and improvements.
• Participate in cybersecurity communities and forums.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity
