Job Description

We are searching for a Structural Design Technician to join our dynamic team in Sandton. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of structural engineering principles, with hands-on experience in drafting and design.

Responsibilities

• Utilize structural analysis software to ensure designs meet current standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are adhered to.
• Propose design modifications to improve functionality and cost-effectiveness.
• Support project management in tracking project schedules and budgets.
• Participate in project meetings to review progress and address any issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental guidelines in all phases of the project.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the engineering design process

Certifications

• SACAP Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
