Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. You will be involved in the design, testing, and production of aerospace vehicles and components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and a passion for innovation in aerospace technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop aerospace systems and components.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of prototypes.
• Collaborate with other engineers to troubleshoot and solve design issues.
• Manage projects to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Analyze data and develop reports to document results.
• Advise on safety procedures and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering

Technical Skills

• CAD Software
• Aerodynamics

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification
• Aerospace Engineering Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with UAV technology: Knowledge of unmanned aircraft systems and their applications.
• Familiarity with project management tools: Experience with tools such as JIRA or similar for project tracking.
