Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. You will be involved in the design, testing, and production of aerospace vehicles and components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and a passion for innovation in aerospace technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced simulations for aerodynamics and structures.
• Work in cross-functional teams to integrate systems and products.
• Research new materials and technologies for aerospace applications.
• Provide technical support for the production through the lifecycle of the project.
• Identifying areas for improvement in current aerospace systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering

Technical Skills

• CAD Software
• Aerodynamics

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification
• Aerospace Engineering Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with UAV technology: Knowledge of unmanned aircraft systems and their applications.
• Familiarity with project management tools: Experience with tools such as JIRA or similar for project tracking.
