Job Description

As an Environmental Engineer in our Durban office, you will oversee projects focusing on environmental impact assessments, water quality management, and waste management strategies. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving our mission of environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor environmental performance and report findings.
• Create remediation plans for contaminated sites.
• Coordinate with local authorities and environmental agencies.
• Conduct training sessions on environmental policies and best practices.
• Identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support the development of sustainable resource management plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or similar
• Postgraduate qualifications will be beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• EIA and EMP Development
• Soil and Water Testing

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Renewable Energy Systems: Familiarity with solar and wind energy systems will be a plus.
• Sustainability Certifications: Additional certifications in sustainability practices are favorable.
