Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to work with clients in Durban, providing expert advice on environmental management and sustainability strategies. This role includes conducting field studies, preparing reports, and liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments and collect data to evaluate environmental conditions.
• Analyze environmental data and prepare presentations for clients.
• Assist in developing and implementing sustainability programs.
• Identify opportunities for improved environmental performance in client operations.
• Provide consultation regarding waste management and pollution control.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of local environmental laws: Understanding of South African environmental legislation and policies.
