Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sasolburg. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing chemical processes in our manufacturing operations. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in the chemical industry and a strong background in process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Design experiments to test hypotheses and validate process changes.
• Collaborate with R&D to translate lab-scale processes to production scale.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Develop and maintain process control models for optimization.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering is beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing environments

Certifications

• Certified Chemical Engineer (CCE) is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
