Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to be part of our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and can apply innovative design practices to ensure structural integrity in diverse projects. You will help lead the engineering process from inception to completion, ensuring all specifications and regulations are met.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis utilizing CAD and structural design software.
  • Review and modify engineering designs based on project requirements.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
  • Conduct inspections during construction to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Prepare project documentation and reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Master's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Experience
  • 5+ years in structural engineering with a strong portfolio of projects
Technical Skills
  • Revit
  • ETABS
Soft Skills
  • Team player
  • Leadership
Certifications
  • Structural Engineering certification preferred
  • Gauteng Master Builder Association (MBA) certification is a plus
Languages
  • English: Fluent
