DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. You will play a critical role in enhancing our cloud computing capabilities and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools, alongside experience working with cloud environments. Your expertise will be essential in providing improved operational efficiencies and fostering a culture of collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to transition existing systems to cloud-based solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolution of cloud operational issues.
• Create and maintain documentation of procedures and system architectures.
• Actively participate in team meetings to review processes and performance metrics.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in system performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Master's degree would be advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Technologies
