Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patient health status.
  • Manage medication administration and monitor for side effects.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery.
  • Document all nursing interventions in patient charts.
  • Engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices.
  • Assist in emergency situations and follow protocols for patient safety.
  • Contribute to hospital policy development and adherence.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
Experience
  • 1+ years of clinical nursing experience preferred
