Job Description

As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team by performing blood draws and collecting samples from patients. Your work will directly contribute to accurate medical testing and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct blood draws following best practices.
  • Confirm patient identity and manage sample labels diligently.
  • Ensure the work area is hygienic and well-organized.
  • Strictly adhere to safety guidelines to protect against infections.
  • Deliver top-notch patient service and comfort.
  • Record detailed information about procedures and patient responses.
  • Keep track of medical supplies and reorder as necessary.
  • Work closely with the clinical team to ensure efficiency.
  • Stay current on phlebotomy best practices and new techniques.
  • Provide training or support to junior staff when needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate or Diploma in Phlebotomy or Healthcare
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical setting performing phlebotomy.
