Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer in our Pretoria office, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced engineering solutions. We are looking for a results-driven individual with a passion for innovation and a strong background in mechanical system design.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and systems in compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to analyze project viability.
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to refine product concepts.
• Create product specifications, guidelines, and technical documentation.
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Perform stress and fatigue analysis using engineering software.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor the manufacturing process and conduct quality control.
• Participate in project planning and resource allocation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Mechanical Systems Design
• Project Management Tools (MS Project)

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent
