Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our talented team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, and testing of various mechanical systems, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams will be essential to deliver innovative engineering solutions. You will play a crucial role in driving projects from conception through to completion, continuously seeking improvements and efficiencies in processes and designs.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of engineering design projects from start to finish.
• Work in collaboration with the R&D team to innovate new products.
• Manage documentation for design changes and updates.
• Implement testing procedures to ensure product functionality.
• Evaluate and improve existing mechanical systems for performance and efficiency.
• Contribute to engineering strategy and product roadmaps.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
• Master's degree or higher preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in mechanical engineering roles focusing on design and analysis

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
