Structural Engineer

Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning and design phases of construction projects. We are looking for someone who can apply engineering principles effectively, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate closely with architects and other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Continually assess and recommend materials and methods for the best outcomes.
• Ensure timely delivery and compliance on all engineering projects.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including vendors and consultants.
• Testing of materials and receiving site feedback for design adjustments.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4-7 years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Matlab

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• PrEng Registration (Professional Engineer)
• LEED Accreditation is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of sustainable design principles: Understanding environmental impacts and implementing sustainable practices in designs.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations: Knowledge of relevant building codes ensuring compliance.
