Leather Grader

Job Description

The Leather Grader will play a vital role in evaluating the quality of leather hides. The selected candidate will grade hides according to established standards, record grading outcomes, and ensure quality alignment with production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and grade leather hides based on quality standards set by the company.
• Monitor production output and provide feedback to the team.
• Prepare reports on grading outcomes for management review.
• Assist in maintaining quality control measures throughout the production process.
• Conduct training sessions on quality standards for new employees.
• Work closely with the Production and Sales teams to ensure product quality.
• Participate in the development of improved grading procedures.
• Evaluate the performance of new leather processing machines as required.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in leather grading.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Leather Types
• Machinery Operation
