The Leather Grader will play a vital role in evaluating the quality of leather hides. The selected candidate will grade hides according to established standards, record grading outcomes, and ensure quality alignment with production requirements.
Responsibilities
Inspect and grade leather hides based on quality standards set by the company.
Monitor production output and provide feedback to the team.
Prepare reports on grading outcomes for management review.
Assist in maintaining quality control measures throughout the production process.
Conduct training sessions on quality standards for new employees.
Work closely with the Production and Sales teams to ensure product quality.
Participate in the development of improved grading procedures.
Evaluate the performance of new leather processing machines as required.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience in leather grading.
