Production Operations Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will oversee production processes, manage staff, and ensure that we maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day production activities, ensuring targets are met.
• Implement and uphold health and safety standards across the production floor.
• Work collaboratively with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
• Identify skill gaps and implement training programs for staff development.
• Utilize data analysis to assess production yield and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead crisis management efforts in production-related challenges to maintain output continuity.
• Report directly to the Director of Operations with regular updates on production performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field
• MBA preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a managerial capacity within production environments
