Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to assess and enhance our production line efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implementing innovative solutions to drive cost reduction and productivity improvements in our Pretoria facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and work measurements to improve production efficiency.
• Develop and implement layouts for optimal flow of materials and personnel.
• Identify bottlenecks in production and recommend process enhancements.
• Prepare reports detailing findings and improvement plans.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to minimize defects and improve quality.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and just-in-time methodologies.
• Manage and coordinate small-scale engineering projects.
• Evaluate equipment and process technologies to enhance operational performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering or related fields
