Join our Cape Town team as a Civil Engineer, where you will lead and contribute to various infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is skilled in project management, design, and implementation of civil engineering works.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction progress and ensure quality control on-site.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in civil engineering.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
• Prepare and present project proposals to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in civil projects

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis Software
• Civil Design Software

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Environmental Regulations: Familiar with national and local regulatory requirements in civil engineering.
