Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support and counsel to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Assist in the setup and management of medical equipment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
• Assess patient needs and create individual care plans.
• Support new nursing staff through mentoring and onboarding.
• Engage in health promotion and disease prevention programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Patient Care Management
• Medication Administration

Certifications

• Registered Nurse License

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in a specialized nursing field (ICU, Oncology, etc.): Specialized experience can enhance your application.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Having ACLS certification is an advantage.
